Reef Genetics Phytoplankton – Tetraselmis chui

Tetraselmis chui is a green flagellated phytoplankton known for its rich nutritional profile and active swimming behavior. With a slightly larger cell size and strong presence of EPA, amino acids, and vitamins, Tetraselmis supports a wide range of reef organisms—from copepods and rotifers to corals, clams, and filter feeders.

Cultured in-house as part of our Reef Genetics program, it’s harvested fresh and bottled clean to deliver reliable performance across display tanks, refugiums, and home culturing systems.

Dosing Instructions

• Shut off return pumps, protein skimmers, and UV sterilizers for 20 minutes after feeding.

• Can be broadcast fed, drip fed, or target fed.

• Combine with frozen or powdered coral foods for enhanced nutrient delivery.
